Near Field Communications
This year the biggest buzz has surrounded the arrival of a series of successful real-world trials of Near Field Communications (NFC) technology in Europe, in the US and in Asia.
We begin with an introduction to NFC and its market potential, provide an in-depth look at the technology, describe the transit ticketing projects that have been taking place in Germany and Austria and examine the US experience of NFC.
